4 players from potentially relegated sides that Manchester United should definitely be interested in

Here are four players from potentially relegated sides that Manchester United should definitely be interested in.

Some huge teams are going down in the Premier League this season. Southampton’s fate is now all but sealed following their loss to Brighton today. However, there are two other clubs also going with them.

This is out of Everton, Leicester City and Leeds United. They all have some star-studded names who would be great acquisitions if you could get them on the cheap.

So, with this – here are four players Erik ten Hag should be looking at from potentially relegated sides.

Romeo Lavia – Southampton

The first shout is 19-year-old Romeo Lavia.

The Belgian is an absolute unit already at 19 and has looked really impressive despite Southampton’s poor form.

A product of the Chelsea youth academy, could the Blues have made the same mistake as they did with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku? He definitely has bags of potential.

James Ward-Prowse – Southampton

Arguably the greatest free-kick taker the Premier League has ever seen, it’s remarkable James Ward Prowse is being relegated.

We think he’d suit United perfectly. He’d be great rotation for the ageing Christian Eriksen, is fantastic from all set pieces and wouldn’t cost a bomb. To us – this one is a no-brainer.

James Maddison – Leicester City

From one talented English midfielder to another, James Maddison could very well be relegated with Leicester City.

The England international has been their star man for some while now. He’s creative, scores goals and is a joy to watch.

Bruno Fernandes played an unholy amount of games this season. Bringing in Maddison would allow a more than competent second-choice CAM who could interchange in smaller games. He can also play on the wing which is definitely useful.

Kyle Walker-Peters – Southampton

Finally, and remarkably the third Southampton player, Kyle Walker-Peters.

The English full-back has proven himself worthy of Premier League quality. We envision this signing to be similar to that of Liverpool signing Andy Robertson from Hull. He’d thrive in a better side.

He is also very useful as a squad player. He can comfortably play both left and right back. Sign him up!
