Manchester United may have an brief window of opportunity for an unlikely dream move to sign Kylian Mbappe.
L’Equipe report Kylian Mbappe has signalled his intentions not to renew his current contract. Mbappe’s deal expires in 2024, with an option to extend to 2025. However, both parties must agree to the extension.
The French newspaper claims Mbappe has informed Paris Saint-Germain in writing that he does not intend to extend his deal.
Fabrizio Romano reports: “Crucial point on Kylian Mbappé story as mentioned before: Paris Saint-Germain do NOT consider an option to lose him as free agent in June 2024. 
#PSGNew deal — or he will be made available on the market right now.”

Kylian Mbappe would be dream addition for new Manchester United owners
Real Madrid will be the clear favourites to sign Kylian Mbappe, having just lost Karim Benzema. They were interested in the Frenchman last summer.
But Real are not the only European superpower in need of a striker.
Manchester United have a desperate need for a top class forward, and now back in the Champions League for next season, can offer Mbappe a new challenge.
Mbappe is the superstar statement signing that any new Manchester United owner should be desperately looking to make.
Even if funds have a limit, for Mbappe, you find a way to make it happen, via player sales or spreading the fee.
There are two key reasons Kylian Mbappe works for player and PSG
For PSG, selling Mbappe to Manchester United may be preferable to letting him switch to Real Madrid, with relations still tense between the two clubs after last summer.
Le Parisien report tonight that it has been noted in Paris how Florentino Perez has been promising Mbappe’s arrival to Real fans.
Letting Mbappe go to Real would feel like defeat for PSG. Manchester United could try to play on this, by offering a viable alternative.
There could also be temptation for Mbappe, who has always maintained a very public show of respect for Marcus Rashford.
With Erling Haaland starring for City, Mbappe could be intrigued by going head to head with him in Manchester, attempting to outscore the Norwegian and lead United to trophies.
From a sporting perspective, this could hold real appeal for Mbappe. It’s certainly a huge challenge.
PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi insists he is not connected with the Manchester United takeover, BBC Sport report. Conspiracy theories would go into overdrive if he did sell Mbappe to a Sheikh Jassim owned Red Devils – but if the French striker has to go, then it can’t hurt United to potentially have cordial relations with PSG’s owners.
