Manchester United duo who signed this summer celebrate scoring first U18 goals in 6-0 win

Manchester United’s under-18’s managed to thrash Leeds United on Saturday in a 6-0 win in which a couple scored their first.

The kids have done it again.

Manchester United‘s under-18’s have been performing so well this season with seven wins out of seven to leave them top of the table.

The game on Saturday saw five scorers including Jayce Fitzgerald who scored a wondergoal. The scoresheet was added to by summer signing duo Harry Amass and Jack Fletcher who grabbed their first for the club at this level.

Amass joined as the country’s most exciting left-back from Watford while Jack Fletcher who is the son of former Old Trafford midfielder Darren joined from City, alongside his twin.

Following the game, both took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement…

Harry Amass celebrates United goal

Amass scored the sixth goal of the game which was his first for United’s under-18’s.

He posted an image of him in celebration before adding the caption, “No better feeling”.

Amass hasn’t been here long however already seems to have adopted United as his club which could bode well for him in the long run as the club endure left-back injury woes.

Jack Fletcher celebrates goal

Fletcher scored the third goal in the 49th minute, a moment which will have made his dad very proud.

Darren Fletcher is currently the Red Devil’s technical director and his son’s message will also have left him smiling.

“Huge 3 pts on the road, nice to score my first goal for the club”, he wrote. Before adding a red, white and black flag for United and a shushing emoji to mimic his celebration.

Hopefully the first of many for an exciting young midfield talent who those at the club are very excited by.
