Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is the latest big name to be linked with a move to Manchester United.
Osimhen is currently enjoying a loan spell at Galatasaray, boasting 12 goals in 15 matches for the Turkish giants.
The Nigeria international fired Napoli to the Serie A title back in 2023, which initially led to multiple Premier League links, but a deal never materialised despite Osimhen’s prolificacy in front of goal.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for Osimhen again, while Sky Sports in Switzerland understands that Napoli are demanding a fee of up to €75 million (£62.34) to secure his signature in the winter transfer window.
It’s a sizeable fee to pay mid-season when Sir Jim Ratcliffe is placing cost-cutting measures on the club. Osimhen will also demand a hefty salary ahead of his next move.
Furthermore, Osimhen has a clause in his contract that allows him to be recalled by the Serie A outfit if they reach an agreement to sell him in January.
Napoli could be tempted by an exchange offer to find a suitable replacement for Osimhen.

Napoli would welcome exchange offers for Victor Osimhen
It sounds like Napoli are resigned to losing Osimhen.
The 25-year-old shocked European football when he joined Galatasaray on loan, but a big move could be on the cards with Napoli open to offers.
According to TBR Football, United have been approached with the chance to sign Osimhen and Napoli are said to be keen on three players in exchange.
Those three players include Marcus Rashford, Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund.
Rashford has admitted he is ready for a new challenge and Zirkzee is struggling to score goals in his first season at the club. Meanwhile, Hojlund is a work in progress.
Antonio Conte may be keen to buy from United again after enjoying success with Scott McTominay’s transfer this season.
Victor Osimhen would give Manchester United something different
United lack experience in the centre forward department and it’s been a long time since we signed a striker capable of leading a team to league success.
Robin van Persie was the last statement signing that helped Sir Alex Ferguson deliver a Premier League title in his final season as manager.
Both Hojlund and Zirkzee are young players and they need time to adapt to playing at the highest level, in the Premier League.
Rashford, like Zirkzee, isn’t exactly a centre forward which helps explain why United are struggling to win football matches this season.
It would help Ruben Amorim if he had an experienced centre forward to call upon and Osimhen, 25, has time to get even better.
