Paul Scholes singled out two Manchester United legends that he played alongside under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford and was left in awe at their natural talents.
Sir Alex Ferguson brought a star-studded roster of Manchester United players to Old Trafford during his legendary 26-year reign at the Premier League club.
Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic are among the United legends who had an incredible impact at the Red Devils under Ferguson.
Ferguson is widely regarded as one of the best managers of all time and the 83-year-old Scotsman oversaw managerial success in both England and Scotland.
The legendary former United manager engineered all 13 of the Red Devils’ Premier League title wins and led the club to a famous continental treble in 1999.
Paul Scholes spent his entire legendary playing career — across two separate spells — under Ferguson after rising through the ranks of the United youth academy.

Scholes on complete Man Utd legend
Speaking on TNT Sports, Paul Scholes showered the ultimate praise on former Manchester United teammate Roy Keane and said he “did everything” for the club.
Roy Keane was a linchpin midfield figure and leader under Sir Alex Ferguson and the United legend excelled during his remarkable captaincy at Old Trafford.
United legend Scholes played in the middle of the park alongside the 53-year-old Irishman, who was a commanding box-to-box midfielder in his prime.
Keane famously captained United to their iconic treble win in the 1998-99 campaign and he is regarded as one of the best skippers in Premier League history.
Following his arrival from Nottingham Forest in 1993, Keane went on to lift seven Premier League titles, a Champions League trophy and four FA Cups with United.
“Roy Keane did everything for this club, captained this club, was the manager on the football pitch for me,” Scholes said.
“He did absolutely everything, he helped with the defence, helped with the attack, contributed in every single way that a Manchester United midfield player should do.”
Scholes talks up ‘scintillating’ Man Utd legend
Along with his praise for Roy Keane, Scholes went on to wax lyrical about former United and England teammate Wayne Rooney.
Wayne Rooney is widely regarded as one of the best Premier League strikers of all time and he had a prolific playing spell at United after his 2004 move from Everton.
The 39-year-old ex-England striker hoovered up the silverware at Old Trafford and went on to eclipse Sir Bobby Charlton as the club’s all-time leading scorer.
Speaking on the England and United legend, Scholes said: “Wayne Rooney was a scintillating, amazing footballer.
“He had raw power as a young player, his technique was sensational, had a brilliant goalscoring record and I was lucky enough to play with him for quite some time.”
