Manchester United fans were on the same wavelength after Casemiro’s display against Real Sociedad in the crucial Europa League clash at Old Trafford on Thursday evening.
Ruben Amorim’s men travelled to Spain and Manchester United and Real Sociedad played out a 1-1 Europa League draw at the Reale Arena last Thursday.
United led the first-leg Europa League last-16 tie after Red Devils striker Joshua Zirkzee broke the deadlock in the second half against La Liga club Sociedad.
However, Mikel Oyarzabal found the all-important equaliser for the Spanish outfit from the spot-kick and neither Sociedad nor United could find the winner.
Following on from the result against Sociedad, the Red Devils hosted the Gunners last Sunday and United and Arsenal walked away with a point at Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, were in complete awe at Casemiro’s performance against Real Sociedad at Old Trafford.
The 33-year-old was praised for his “monster” performance and Red Devils supporters pointed to Casemiro transforming into his ‘prime’ Real Madrid version.
One X user wrote: “[Casemiro] showing us why he started in the legendary Madrid team. Big baller!”
“Casemiro is on form at the right time of the season, too,” another tweeted.
Someone else commented: “Casemiro sees a Spanish opponent and turns into a Real Madrid player.”
“We actually signed [Manuel] Ugarte for no reason. Casemiro is still so clear of him,” a fourth posted.
While a fifth said: “Casemiro is a monster tonight for United.”
Somebody else claimed: “Casemiro with crazy clearance Man United have been better with him in that midfield.”
“Casemiro is running back the years with this performance, wow,” another suggested.
And an eighth United fan added: “Casemiro with [five] Champions Leagues dropping a 10/10 performance for us in the Europa League just sums up his character! What a player, man.”
What happened in Man Utd vs Real Sociedad at Old Trafford?
United were 1-0 down in the opening 10 minutes after VAR intervened and ruled against Matthijs de Ligt for a challenge inside the Red Devils box.
The referee subsequently pointed to the spot and Sociedad captain Mikel Oyarzabal stepped up for the penalty and sent Andre Onana the wrong way from the spot-kick.
However, the Red Devils climbed back into the contest only six minutes later after United striker Rasmus Hojlund was brought down in the Sociedad box.
The referee once again pointed to the spot and Bruno Fernandes sent Alex Remiro the wrong way from his penalty and pulled the Red Devils level at Old Trafford.
United and Sociedad went into half-time with the scoreline level at 1-1 in the second-leg round-of-16 Europa League tie on Thursday evening.
The Red Devils received a second penalty only minutes into the second half after Patrick Dorgu clattered into Sociedad defender Aritz Elustondo in the box.
VAR reviewed the incident and the penalty stood, with Fernandes stepping up again and once again sending Alex Remiro the wrong way to put United 2-1 up.
Sociedad were reduced to 10 men at Old Trafford after defender Jon Aramburu, who came off the bench, hacked Zirkzee down when the United striker was through.
Fernandes signed off a stunning captain’s performance by completing a sensational hat-trick in the 87th minute against Sociedad to put the Red Devils 3-1 up.
Diogo Dalot netted in injury time to ensure United thrashed Sociedad 4-1 and punched their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
