Bryan Mbeumo shares how promising Man Utd talent purposefully annoys people in Old Trafford training sessions

Bryan Mbeumo has revealed why Ayden Heaven is such a “super spontaneous” character after seeing what the Manchester United star does in training with his teammates.

Ayden Heaven has been part of the Manchester United first-team squad since he left Premier League side Arsenal and arrived at Old Trafford in the 2025 window.

The 19-year-old ex-Gunners talent made his United debut under former Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim and has emerged as a promising long-term prospect at the club.

Heaven has made 14 first-team appearances in the 2025-26 campaign, with the United defender making eight starts from 13 Premier League appearances.

Bryan Mbeumo explains to Man Utd fans the ‘funny’ side of Ayden Heaven that he has seen at Old Trafford

Ayden Heaven has been able to pick up valuable first-team minutes at Old Trafford when the likes of Matthijs de Ligt or Harry Maguire have been sidelined for the club.

The Manchester United centre-back is still short of becoming a regular starter for the Red Devils amid his ongoing development at the Premier League side since 2025.

Speaking to TikToker ‘Zack en Roue Libre,’ Bryan Mbeumo has opened up about his experience of being at Old Trafford in his debut season as a Man Utd player.

The 26-year-old Cameroon international revealed that Heaven can act in a really “super spontaneous” way during United training sessions at the Carrington complex.

“No, they [the younger players] are good and they are funny,” he said.

“He is super spontaneous in what he does. Super spontaneous and so, well, sometimes he does things, he doesn’t think, but it’s very funny.”

What Bryan Mbeumo has spotted Ayden Heaven doing in Man Utd’s training sessions

Mbeumo explained that Heaven is not short of confidence and the Red Devils talent will intentionally ‘wind up’ different people in the early part of Man Utd training.

“It’s very funny and even, for example, we will do a two-touch before training, and he is the guy who will purposely send you a brick in the air,” he added.

“Actually, he likes to annoy everyone, you know. But it’s affectionate. You know that it’s not mean, and no, honestly, I think it’s good to have someone like him in the team.

“But no, otherwise honestly, I find that the group lives very well together and it’s great.”

United paid an undisclosed fee to bring Heaven, who made one senior appearance for Arsenal after emerging from their youth academy, to Old Trafford last February.
