Manchester United ace Patrick Dorgu has suffered an injury on international duty for Denmark.
Patrick Dorgu was forced off after just 30 minutes in Denmark’s UEFA Nations League match with Wales.
Dorgu had started on the left-wing, having played on the right-wing in their previous match against Norway.
Half an hour into the game, Dorgu was running down the touchline without the ball when he pulled up with an apparent injury, that looked like a possible hamstring.
He was substituted for Mohamed Daramy, and while he was able to walk off the pitch, he had a helping hand from Denmark’s medical staff.
Denmark have two more games during the international break, but there is a chance Dorgu does not play in either of them.
Dorgu suffered hamstring injury earlier in 2026
Patrick Dorgu suffered a hamstring injury in January during Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Arsenal, in which he scored. The injury kept him out of action for three months.
There is no diagnosis on Dorgu’s latest injury, but clearly it is one Manchester United will be concerned about. He could leave Denmark’s camp early to be assessed at Carrington.
Manchester United are next in action on October 10 at home to Tottenham.
The injury adds more frustration for United fans amid a difficult start to the season, interrupted by a meaningless and now costly international break.
