France striker Randal Kolo Muani should not rush into a move to Manchester United this summer, says Bixente Lizarazu.
The 1998 World Cup winner is a big fan of the Eintracht Frankfurt striker, and believes he would ‘definitely’ succeed at Manchester United.
But in an interview with Wettbasis, he says that Muani does not need to rush into a summer transfer, and should spend another year in the Bundesliga.
Manchester United have been linked to Randal Kolo Muani, with The MEN reporting he is on a list of potential summer targets.

Randal Kolo Muani future
Muani scored an impressive 23 goals for Eintracht Frankfurt this past season and also delivered a further 11 assists.
He also demonstrated his quality at the World Cup with a goal in the semi-final against Morocco.
Former France left-back Lizarazu was asked directly whether Muani is good enough to play for Manchester United.
He said: “Definitely, but he can also take his time and stay with Frankfurt Eintracht for another season to continue to mature there.
“Randal is in good hands there, he plays in a top league and also in the European Cup.
“Talented strikers find that they can develop at clubs like Frankfurt and are given the time they need to do so. He can then take the big leap in the summer of 2024 with even more experience.”
Manchester United of course need a striker now and don’t want to wait until 2024. That could prompt Muani into making a decision this summer.
Lizarazu believes Muani has the skillset to succeed in England, but is keen to point out that he could quite easily stay in Germany.
Asked about his best option, he said: “It’s difficult to say, but with his athleticism, his qualities in the air and his dribbling, he would certainly fit well in the Premier League, but also in the Bundesliga.”
Manchester United need to sign a striker, with an unreliable Anthony Martial the only centre-forward on the club’s books.
But when it comes to France, Martial can’t get a look in, while Muani is a squad regular. That itself should be a clue to United that a move would be an upgrade.
