Manchester United linked midfielder Moises Caicedo continues to show affection for the Red Devils on social media.
The Times reported over the weekend that Manchester United will turn attentions to Moises Caicedo, amid frustration over a stalled deal for Mason Mount.
This may simply have been a ploy to agitate Mount’s club Chelsea, who want to land Caicedo, and Fabrizio Romano reports they are set to hold talks with Brighton over a deal.
Caicedo though, has an affection for the Red Devils, quoted by The Sun in 2020: “Manchester United are my favourite club.”

Moises Caicedo follows several Manchester United players on social media, one of who is fellow South American midfielder Casemiro.
After Casemiro shared a picture on Instagram, his post was ‘liked’ by Moises Caicedo, in addition to several others, including former Real Madrid teammate Marcelo.

Manchester United have not given up on a deal for Mason Mount, despite the posturing the club could go in for Caicedo.
Fabrizio Romano reports via YouTube that Caicedo is Chelsea’s top priority, and they appear to be the most determined club to sign the Ecuador international.
Talksport and Sky Sports also report today that United have made contact with Brighton, although have not yet submitted an offer.
As much as Caicedo may show a liking for Manchester United, the Red Devils have not totally reciprocated it, backing out of a move to sign him for just £5 million in 2021.
If the club don’t fight to sign him this summer, and he heads to Chelsea, Caicedo’s admiration for United might just dry up.
