WinterFest23 returns to the Sunshine Coast

Football Queensland (FQ) is once again set to host WinterFest23, the state’s largest junior football carnival, kicking off tomorrow on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Delivered in partnership with Sunshine Coast Council and Visit Sunshine Coast, WinterFest23 will be held from Wednesday, 28 June to Sunday, 2 July and see over 130 teams competing in more than 500 games at Maroochydore FC.

Radio partner 92.7 Mix FM will join the festivities as an official sponsor and run in-person activations with giveaways alongside broadcasting on air throughout WinterFest.

“We’re excited to welcome the football community to the third annual WinterFest, an event which is shaping up to be the biggest showcase of Queensland football talent yet,” Football Queensland CEO Robert Cavallucci.

“WinterFest is an amazing opportunity for players to gain high quality match minutes and explore the region’s attractions and Football Queensland would like to again thank Sunshine Coast Council and Visit Sunshine Coast for their ongoing support to create a welcoming space for participants from every region.

“Good luck to all players, coaches and supporters coming down, we hope you enjoy the next five days playing football, exploring the coast and checking out the 92.7 Mix FM initiatives.”

WinterFest23 attendees can purchase a range of customisable apparel to remember their time at the carnival from inside the Maroochydore Football Complex club house.
