Jude Bellingham reacts to Manchester United's big money transfer deal

Manchester United new boy Mason Mount has been congratulated on his move to the club by England teammate Jude Bellingham.

Mason Mount is basking in the glow of his move to Manchester United, leaving Chelsea behind after a successful start to his career at the club.

Now it is time for a new challenge, and Mount has been given huge backing with Manchester United handing him the iconic number seven shirt.

Mount wrote on Instagram: “I know the history and understand the responsibility that comes with this shirt. The most important for me is to gain your trust and I will work hard to do that. I won’t let you down Reds!”

Mason Mount backed

Mason Mount’s move to Manchester United is a big one, with the midfielder one of the club’s most expensive ever players at £55 million.

That pales in significance to the fee Real Madrid paid for Jude Bellingham this summer, at almost double the price.

Bellingham was one of the players to reach out to Mount in the past few days to wish the midfielder luck on his move to Manchester United.

It could have been you Jude

Jude Bellingham won’t be regretting choosing Real Madrid, he has an incredible challenge on his hands. But he will be paying attention to Manchester United.

His close pal Jadon Sancho is still at Old Trafford, while England teammate Mason Mount has now joined him.

In four years time Bellingham will be 24, the same age Mason Mount is now. Who is to say he won’t end up being his replacement by time 2027 rolls around?

United infamously could have signed Bellingham in 2020, getting him to Carrington for a tour, before he chose Dortmund. For now it’s off the agenda, but he has a lot of career left ahead.
