The Glazers will be absolutely thrilled with all the recent goings on at Manchester United.
It seems like Sir Jim Ratcliffe is the winner of the takeover bid, however in a rather unorthodox fashion – much to the dismay of Manchester United fans.
The Times reports the British billionaire’s latest offer to buy a 25 per cent stake is going to be approved, which was not the anticipated outcome of many.
This will have the Glazers licking their lips and laughing all the way to the bank.
The Glazers got exactly what they wanted
Retired footballer Jan Aage Fjortoft, who is always very active on X, took to the platform to share his thoughts on the Glazers and more so the absolute masterclass they’ve conducted with the takeover sage.
‘The Glazers must be genius!’ he begins. ‘Still in control of Manchester United.
‘Financially they can still do whatever they want, the “sport-department” where they are judged/criticized, they give Ratcliffe responsibility for. And they get paid a fortune!!’
We can’t exactly disagree
The Glazers have come out of this entire deal as undeniable winners.
The things they were previously getting stick for in regard to football now no longer fall on them – yet they still get to reap the rewards of the football club’s immense financial wealth.
Not to mention the fact they also sell part of the club, which gives them an initial huge boost in revenue.
Whereas there was once a glimmer of hope, it’s hard to now see a world where the Glazers won’t have some involvement with United.
The part-takeover almost confirms they will continue to be an ever-present, unwelcome duo surrounding the club for many years to come.
Saying that, it is at least a small positive and hopefully the club turns in a better direction under the football helm of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
