Leny Yoro is officially a Manchester United player after the Red Devils announced the move to sign the French international.
Yoro becomes Manchester United’s second signing of the summer, following the deal to sign Joshua Zirkzee.
Now Manchester United’s players have begun to react the club’s announcement.
Alejandro Garnacho welcomes Leny Yoro
Leny Yoro was presented wearing a Manchester United shirt and also posing with manager Erik ten Hag while wearing the club’s training gear.
Yoro will soon be linking up with his Manchester United teammates and joining them in pre-season training.
Alejandro Garnacho and Amad both welcomed Yoro to Manchester United with messages on social media.
Garnacho wrote simply, ‘Welcome bro!’, while Amad added, ‘Bienvenue Leny’.
Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand also expressed his excitement, writing, ‘Love it’.
Yoro adds to United’s youth core
At just 18, Leny Yoro is even younger than Manchester United prodigy Kobbie Mainoo.
He joins an exciting core of youth talent at Old Trafford, including Alejandro Garnacho and Amad.
It was essential that Manchester United’s defensive options had a youthful edge, with Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire all over 30.
Yoro continues United’s plan to rebuild with a young squad, which include strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, both under 23.
These players can grow together for many years, and it is great to see Gartnacho and Amad instantly make Yoro feel welcome.
