Man United may have a chance to strike one of the best deals of the summer for 'superb' ace, it's a no-brainer for Ineos

Manchester United may have a chance to do one of the very deals of the summer, according to reports.

Since buying a minority stake in Manchester United in December, Ineos have been keen to be smart with their money, as spending recklessly has not worked at Old Trafford in the past.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe wanted United to find the next Kylian Mbappe rather than spend silly amounts of money to sign the Frenchman himself.

This summer, the Red Devils have been smart with their money. United signed Leny Yoro for £52 million, potentially one of the best centre-backs in Europe.

As well as this, United have also signed Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for a reasonable fee of £34 million and he is now set to play a key role following Rasmus Hojlund’s injury lay-off.

United handed one of the deals of the summer

United have been linked with a move for a new midfielder for practically the entirety of the summer with the Red Devils looking for a different option to a declining Casemiro.

Casemiro has started pre-season pretty well and there now looks to be a chance that the former Real Madrid midfielder will stay at Old Trafford.

This could potentially affect United making a move for a new midfielder but they remain keen on Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte.

Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Ugarte might be allowed to leave the Parc Des Princes on a loan with just an option to buy.

United were previously quoted £60 million for Ugarte so for the French giants to lower that price to practically a free 12-month trial of the midfielder, this is a deal that Ineos have to get done.

PSG may will hold out for a fee – but if there is a chance they are willing to loan loan, with an option, it is an absolute ‘no brainer’ for Ineos to sanction.

Ineos have done well in the market, Ugarte deal has to get done

Ineos deserve credit for how they have handled the summer transfer window, their first as owners of United.

The deals for Yoro and Zirkzee were completed swiftly whilst United were unwilling to match Everton’s rather ludicrous demands for Jarrad Branthwaite.

Signing Yoro represented a market opportunity that United simply had to get done when Real Madrid’s position became clear.

The same could be applied to Ugarte. Whilst the Uruguayan’s representation has suffered somewhat since moving to the French capital, he still represents a superb market opportunity.

Ugarte could be exactly what Kobbie Mainoo needs and it represents a low-risk deal for the Red Devils because if things don’t work out he will return to PSG, which is what happened with Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat at the end of the previous campaign.

PSG manager Luis Enrique hailed the midfielder as ‘superb’ when speaking to Montevideo.com last season and this deal is surely a no-brainer for Ineos this summer.
