Samuel Lusale sends two-word message to Chido Obi-Martin as Manchester United deal finally confirmed

Manchester United have finally been able to confirm the signing of teenage striker Chido Obi-Martin after he decided to leave Arsenal.

Ineos have backed Erik ten Hag with a raft of first-team signings and can be pleased with the summer window.

Manchester United signed five first-team players over the summer with almost £200million spent on Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Manuel Ugarte all arriving.

Ineos are also keen to bring more young players to Old Trafford though and have started bringing in hot prospects for the future.

United landed Malian talent Sekou Kone before signing both James Overy and Samuel Lusale for the development ranks.

United fans have been waiting for one big arrival though – and it has finally been confirmed this weekend.

Chido Obi-Martin sends message to Manchester United fans

United snapped up one former Arsenal talent in Hubert Graczyk and he will be joined by Chido Obi-Martin.

A deal for striker Obi-Martin was rumoured back in July as United looked to pull off an audacious raid.

The Dane has been banging in the goals for Arsenal at youth level and had been considered as one of the top young prospects in the Gunners ranks.

United have pulled off the deal though with Obi-Martin deciding to leave Arsenal and complete a move to Old Trafford.

Obi-Martin was pictured with Eric Cantona last week and has now taken to Instagram to send a message to United fans.

Alongside a photo of him signing his contract, Obi-Martin sent a heartfelt message whilst admitting his delight to finally become an official United player.

“Very happy to sign with this amazing club, time to focus and achieve all my dreams. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get this far,” said Obi-Martin.

Samuel Lusale sends message to Obi-Martin

Obi-Martin has received messages from a number of United talents, who are no doubt excited about his arrival.

Toby Collyer sent Obi-Martin a love heart emoji whilst Shea Lacey stated ‘welcome brother’ with Jack Fletcher following suit with a welcome message of his own.

Harry Amass simply said ‘Chido’ alongside another heart emoji and Finley McAllister showed his excitement by stating ‘the big man’.

The aforementioned Overy said ‘yes bro’ and another recent addition – Slovakian talent Lusale – stated ‘about time’.

Lusale’s message probably mirror how United fans feel; this deal has been in the pipeline for a long time now.

More than two months since United first moved for Obi-Martin, the teenage goal machine is finally signed up.

Lusale will hope to form a devastating combination with Obi-Martin moving forward as United look to develop stars of the future.
