The future of Alejandro Garnacho continues to be the subject of exit rumours, with Manchester United not impressed by offers to date.
Marcus Rashford is the highest-profile player who is potentially departing this month. The 27-year-old forward is wanted by several of Europe’s biggest clubs, including La Liga giants Barcelona.
Ineos‘ cull of the current squad also sees Alejandro Garnacho available for transfer – sparking a race for his services which Napoli appears to be leading.
Manchester United have already received bids for Garnacho, with Spurs willing to pay £60m and Chelsea also joining the race for his signature.
Paul Scholes has admitted that he would not be in complete objection to selling Garnacho. Now, details of the financial incentive Napoli could offer Garnacho have been shared.

Napoli could double Alejandro Garnacho’s wage
Garnacho has been returning to form for United over the past few weeks and has played his way into the starting line-up for recent games.
During this period, interest in Garnacho has grown, with Napoli having a £40m bid rejected.
Now, it has been revealed that if Garnacho moves to Italy, he could expect a drastic financial reward.
This is according to Corriere dello Sport which claims that Napoli are putting pressure on a deal for Garnacho to be completed.
Garnacho currently earns £2.6m per year at United (£50,000-a-week) – a figure which could rise as Napoli are offering £3.3m per year (£63,000-a-week).
Due to the Italian tax law, Decreto Crescita, this pay rise is more substantial than it looks with the figure offered by Napoli likely after tax.

Manchester United receive second bid for Garnacho
With Garnacho said to be interested in a move financially, all that is remaining is for Napoli to submit an offer to United that is deemed acceptable.
So far the £40m offer was likely nowhere near a figure that United would accept – however Napoli have reportedly made a second offer.
According to TuttoSport, Napoli have now bid €55m which is £46m for Garnacho.
This is still a figure on the low side, considering United are unlikely to sell for less than £60m. Garnacho’s potential makes a £46m sale a huge risk.
Unless United receive an offer which is too good to refuse then Garnacho should be kept – Napoli must do a lot better.
