Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has opened up on two important changes that his teammates are dealing with at Old Trafford under manager Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils were in action on Sunday evening and Manchester United secured a 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium.
Rasmus Hojlund has had his own struggles in the final third this season and the 22-year-old Denmark international finally opened his goalscoring account in 2025.
The United striker had not scored in 21 consecutive matches for the Red Devils before he found the back of the net in the first half against Leicester City.
Hojlund put United 1-0 up ahead of half-time before Alejandro Garnacho extended the lead for Ruben Amorim’s men in the second half at the King Power Stadium.
Bruno Fernandes, who picked up two assists against the Foxes, added his name to the scoresheet in the 90th minute and United sealed their victory over Leicester.

Rasmus Hojlund shares eye-opening admission about Man Utd players under Ruben Amorim
Rasmus Hojlund has only netted three times in 24 Premier League matches and he has scored five times in 10 Europa League matches in the 2024-25 season.
Manchester United’s momentum has picked up in recent weeks under Ruben Amorim, who has faced a tall order after his arrival at Old Trafford last November.
The 40-year-old United manager has stuck with his philosophy and Amorim rolled out his tactical system at the Red Devils, despite his side’s sporadic run of form.
Amorim’s tactics at United have been met with criticism, but the former Sporting CP boss has continued to use his system irrespective of the players at his disposal.
Speaking after United’s win over Leicester City, Hojlund said that United players are still adapting to Amorim’s system and some are even adapting to “new positions.”
“Of course, I’m happy, but it’s not all about goals,” he told The National.
“I’m obviously very happy to get my goal today and it gives me a lot of confidence, but I think it comes down to my performances as well.
“I’ve not been on top of my game as I wanted to, and we’re still adapting to a new system and some new positions [under Amorim].
“But I think I’ve been growing into it lately and starting to look a bit better.
“But again, I’m just happy to get on the scoresheet today and I’m sure they will come more now.”
What Ruben Amorim noticed from Man Utd players vs Leicester City
Amorim has admitted that he could still see flaws in United’s performance against Leicester, including the Red Devils needing to be much better on the ball.
“I think it was good,” he said after the match.
“I felt a little bit [of] a lack of energy, but they gave everything. Some players were tired and also with the Ayden [Heaven] problem.
“I think we deserved the win and we controlled the game. We could be better with the ball but I understand after these two weeks with a lot of games.
“I think the lads deserved the win. And it was a perfect way to end this week with the win for our away supporters.”
United will now travel to City Ground on 1st April for their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest after the March international break.
