Manchester United were left to rue what could have been once again in the Premier League as they drew 1-1 at Bournemouth.
There were no Lyon heroics repeat against Bournemouth’s ten men, as Rasmus Hojlund’s late goal was just the equaliser.
Man Utd ran out of time to score the winner as the Premier League campaign continues to stutter to a close but there were positives for Ruben Amorim.
Mason Mount might have sealed a starting place for Europe on the back of his cameo here, while MUTV pundit also told Amorim that he has a ‘dangerous’ player in his ranks.

Man Utd’s ‘dangerous’ player
Ruben Amorim started with an unexpectedly strong XI for this game considering they play their biggest game of the season in three days.
It didn’t amount to much either, as Bournemouth did their usual routine against United of pressing high, robbing the ball and scoring to take the lead.
In fact, Amorim’s subs made the difference in the second half, with Mason Mount a standout but the likes of Manuel Ugarte and Chido Obi impressing as well.
MUTV pundit Sammy McIlroy said after the game that he thought one sub, in particular, was really ‘dangerous’, talking about Obi.
He said: “[Chido Obi was]running about the goal. He looks like a dangerous lad, hopefully, he’ll have a big future here.”
Obi had a shot blocked immediately after coming on and his presence also seemed to wake Rasmus Hojlund up, who broke his goalless streak.
Time for Chido Obi’s maiden league start
Despite impressing in limited minutes every time, Amorim has been reluctant to hand Obi more minutes or his debut start for the club in the league.
Obi has played with maturity beyond his years and even put Hojlund to shame at times despite playing limited minutes.
Joshua Zirkzee’s injury was his chance to break out at United because he’s ineligible for the Europa League, meaning Hojlund needs to be preserved in the league.
Now that Hojlund has broken his vicious cycle which is why Amorim kept playing him, next Sunday’s trip to Brentford is when Obi should get his maiden league start.
Hojlund will have played a gruelling 90 minutes in Spain on Thursday and will do so again at Old Trafford next Thursday.
It’s Obi’s time to shine on the Sunday in the middle.
