Ruben Amorim told ruthless 10-word assessment after Man Utd’s draw vs Bournemouth, he can send his own message back

A former Manchester United player dropped a scathing message after Ruben Amorim’s men staged a late comeback draw against Bournemouth on Sunday.

The Red Devils travelled to the Vitality Stadium for their Premier League clash and Manchester United faced an uphill battle after conceding in the first half.

Andre Onana was left helpless to prevent Antoine Semenyo’s opener in the 23rd minute and Bournemouth took a 1-0 lead over United into half-time.

Ruben Amorim’s men managed to climb back into the contest in the dying stages of the match after Bournemouth were reduced to 10 men in the second half.

Evanilson was sent off for Bournemouth and struggling United striker Rasmus Hojlund netted a vital equaliser for the Red Devils deep into stoppage time.

The Red Devils are 14th in the Premier League table after United snatched a point against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium in Sunday’s 1-1 draw.

Ex-Man Utd man Gordon Hill doesn’t hold back his feelings after Ruben Amorim’s men secured a point vs Bournemouth

Manchester United are on course for their worst finish in the Premier League era and the Red Devils have fallen apart in their league form in the 2024-25 campaign.

The Red Devils have only 10 Premier League wins to their name from 34 league matches and United have lost a whopping 15 times in the league alone this season.

United have only four league matches remaining in their campaign and the Red Devils even face an almost unwinnable task of finishing in the top half of the table.

Ruben Amorim’s men will miss out on a European qualification spot in the Premier League table this season and United’s only hope is their Europa League campaign.

Gordon Hill took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and the former United winger dropped a brutal assessment of the Red Devils’ season.

“Nothing left to say about this season. Sad, very sad,” he wrote.

Ruben Amorim can still salvage Man Utd’s 2024-25 season with the Europa League trophy

The Europa League would offer Amorim his first piece of major silverware as United manager after he arrived at Old Trafford from Sporting CP last November.

The Red Devils are through to the semi-finals of the Europa League after United knocked Lyon out of the quarter-finals in a thrilling 5-4 comeback at Old Trafford.

Speaking after the Premier League result at the Vitality Stadium, Amorim drew one key comparison between Bournemouth and upcoming opponents Athletic Club.

“These teams are quite similar in the high pressure, the way they press, so it was a good game to prepare for one of the most important games in our season [against Athletic Club],” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.

United will now travel to Spain and will meet La Liga outfit Athletic Club in the first-leg Europa League semi-final encounter on Thursday evening in Bilbao.
