Manchester United are always on the lookout for spectacular young talents across the globe and now have rolled out the red carpet for two of the finest currently in England.
There is an irreplaceable link between Manchester United and the academy, with the history of the club built on utilising players who came through the youth ranks.
The Busby Babes and Class of 92‘ are both courtesy of the academy, which sees it mean more than at most other clubs.
Right now, United’s academy is in a golden period with the ranks filled to the brim with talented players in every position. The midfield ranks at U21 and U18 levels are sublime and have numerous talents who could potentially be future superstars.
Sekou Kone is a special talent and has proven it since making the £1m move from FC Guidars last summer, with a loan in his future for the 2025-26 campaign.
Further down, Tyler Fletcher, Jay McEvoy and Amir Ibragimov are all midfielders with elite potential, who are locked down at Old Trafford for the near future. However, Ineos are never satisfied and are now looking at signing two of the best midfield wonderkids in England right now.

Manchester United lining up double swoop for Tyrese Noubissie and Seth Ridgeon
Despite all the talent currently in the possession of United at academy level, Ineos’ recruitment will not stop. This will see United target players who are exiting Premier League rivals, similar to how Ineos managed to sign Chido Obi last summer.
United are attempting to sign 16-year-old Seth Ridgeon, who is on the verge of leaving Fulham this summer. However the England U17 captain is not the only wonderkid on the cards.
It comes according to The Athletic, United are in talks to sign both Ridgeon and Manchester City midfielder Tyrese Noubissie, with the pair of 16-year-olds considering offers from the Red Devils.
United’s approach was spearheaded by head of academy recruitment Luke Fedorenko and also director of academy Nick Cox, in a bid to continue to drive to bring in elite teenagers from British academies.
Both players were taken on tours of Carrington and Old Trafford, while they both met director of football Jason Wilcox and Ruben Amorim. United rolling out the red carpet for the pair shows how keen the club are to sign them.
United’s proposal is seen as impressive, and given the youth recruitment record and the current standards of the academy, Ineos should be leading the race.
Who are Manchester United targets Seth Ridgeon and Tyrese Noubissie?
Both are extremely exciting additions, considered among the finest talents in the country. But who are they?
Seth Ridgeon
Currently at Fulham, Ridgeon is an attacking midfielder who has attracted not only United but also Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City, with Fulham fighting to keep him.
Ridgeon is of Sri Lankan descent but has captained England at youth level. Ridgeon has already played U21 football for Fulham and looks to be a very exciting midfielder.
Tyrese Noubissie
Noubissie is expected to leave Manchester City this summer in search of a better pathway, and United face several clubs in the battle to sign him this summer.
Noubissie stands at 6ft 2in already and can play as a defensive midfielder or as a number eight. The talent is a French youth international, but is also eligible for Scotland, having been born there.
Given his European passport, Noubissie is a target on the continent with RB Leipzig and Strasbourg also making attempts to sign him.
United tried to sign Noubissie in 2023 when he was at Leicester City. Man City won that race and paid £1m, but now United could get the last laugh.
