Michael Carrick is looking to make it three wins from three as Manchester United head coach when Fulham visit Old Trafford on Sunday.
After overcoming two difficult games against Premier League title contenders Man City and Arsenal, Michael Carrick walked away from his first two games as Manchester United head coach with six points.
It started with United thrashing Man City 2-0, followed by a 3-2 victory over Arsenal at The Emirates.
The Red Devils will face a different challenge when they take on Fulham, but Carrick is taking each game by time and will be forced into making at least one change against the Cottagers.
Are you confident Manchester United will beat Fulham this weekend?
Our last five games vs Fulham have been very tight…
It’s a chance for United to make it three consecutive league wins since October, knowing that the only way to stay in the top four is by winning football matches.

Time for Matheus Cunha’s first start under Michael Carrick at Man Utd
Carrick and his backroom staff will be coming up with a plan to get maximum points from the game against Fulham in the Premier League.
It won’t be easy. No games in the Premier League are easy, but Fulham have enjoyed good form lately, and they’re just four points adrift of United in fourth place.
Patrick Dorgu has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, although Carrick has yet to reveal a specific return date for the Denmark international.
The Dane’s absence means that Matheus Cunha should be in line to make his first start under the newly appointed head coach, who has utilised the Brazilian star from the bench in his first two matches.
Cunha registered an assist against City before scoring a stunning winner before stoppage time to sink Arsenal last weekend.
It could be argued that Cunha is most deserving of a starting berth following his two substitute cameos under Carrick. He offers United more creativity in the final third than Dorgu, which should bode well as the Red Devils try to find a way to get in behind Fulham.
Potential Manchester United line-up to face Fulham
Marco Silva’s Fulham side will be trying to cause an upset at Old Trafford this weekend.
Confidence is high right now at United, and it will grow if Carrick gets everything spot on again as he did against City and Arsenal.
Senne Lammens keeps his place between the sticks, while the only change in defence is Noussair Mazraoui coming in at right back instead of Diogo Dalot.
After two strong performances together at the heart of defence, Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez deserve to keep their place in the team. The same applies to Luke Shaw at left-back.
The midfield should be unchanged, with Casemiro joined by Kobbie Mainoo, and Bruno Fernandes deployed into a more advanced position.
With several attacking players fighting for a place in the team, someone is bound to miss out on a place in the team. I’d argue the strongest option against Fulham would be to start Amad Diallo, Bryan Mbeumo and Cunha in the forward positions.
How would you line Manchester United up to face Fulham?
Agree with our team? Or would you make changes?
That means Benjamin Sesko could be unlucky to miss out, but each player only has a few weeks to make a good initial impression on Carrick. The 44-year-old will hope to settle on his strongest line-up over the coming weeks, but it remains to be seen who that will involve.
