Former Manchester United and France striker Louis Saha has now revealed exactly why Paul Scholes was his favourite teammate to play alongside in his career.
Sir Alex Ferguson brought Frenchman Louis Saha to Old Trafford in 2004 after Manchester United signed him in a £12.8m transfer from Fulham.
Saha was thought of highly during the time for his striking ability, but the 47-year-old former France international’s United spell would be curtailed by injuries.
Despite not hitting the heights of success that had been tipped for him at United, Saha was not able to forget the impactful experience that Paul Scholes had on him.

Paul Scholes is widely regarded as one of the best Premier League midfielders of all time after his remarkable playing career under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
The 51-year-old Manchester United legend was a linchpin midfield influence for the Red Devils after his emergence from the youth academy ranks in the 1990s.
Scholes spent his entire professional playing career under iconic former United manager Ferguson across two separate spells at the Premier League club.
Speaking to the YouTube channel Kampo, Louis Saha said that Scholes was his favourite teammate and he was left in awe at what he would do with his passing.
“The first one that comes to mind is definitely Paul Scholes because in terms of connection, and without words, Paul is really able to give you the ball exactly where you want it, where you haven’t even thought of,” he said.

Scholes lifted Man Utd’s final Premier League title under Ferguson in the 2012-13 campaign before he called it time on his prolific career for the second time in 2013.
Saha explained that Man Utd’s ‘Class of ‘92’ star would make him think that what he was doing wasn’t ‘normal’ because of how the ball would find him from one of his passes.
“It’s to that point, this guy can sense when you start running and the ball is coming towards you,” he continued.
“And I have these images in my head, I think, this isn’t normal. In training, in matches.”
Scholes lifted 11 Premier League titles, two Champions League trophies, three FA Cups and two League Cups during his legendary playing spell at Man Utd.
