Alejandro Balde is attracting interest from Manchester United, with less than two weeks left before the transfer window shuts.
Manchester United have focused on signing midfielders this summer, but it has been widely reported that a left-back is among the top priorities.

In a recent interview, Balde said he was aware of reports suggesting his future at Barcelona was uncertain, but he is concentrating on his football ahead of the new campaign.
Balde is the latest left-back to be linked with a move to United, but it’s not the first time he has been tipped with a move to Old Trafford.
Speaking to TV3 after winning the Joan Gamper Trophy, Balde said (as per Barca Blaugranes): “The team is in good shape; it’s been a different pre-season because the World Cup players have come back afterwards. The team is fine, physically, very well.
“I’m a very quiet guy. I know there’s a lot of talk, but I think I’m doing things right. I don’t look at the press, but it’s inevitable that it will come. I think I have to focus on myself and my work and things come.”
Balde is a left-back who provides plenty of width on the left flank, using his explosive pace to get forward and recover possession.
It remains to be seen how much it would take to sign Balde from Barcelona, but it won’t be cheap because he has a place in Hansi Flick’s side.
Balde is represented by Gestifute, the agency owned by Jorge Mendes.
That means United have been in touch with Mendes over a potential deal for Balde.
We’ll know sooner rather than later if United’s interest will intensify or if they will walk away from Balde as a target.
