Teenage striker Gabriele Biancheri is all set to join Manchester United subject to FIFA approval.
That is according to journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, who reports that the deal is all but done.
He claims that the Welshman is going to sign a four-year contract to move to Old Trafford, joining from Championship outfit Cardiff City.
Biancheri was first linked last month, in a report by the Athletic, and it was reported that a medical had been completed at that stage.

The teenager will turn 17 in September 2023 and then can sign a professional deal with the Red Devils, so perhaps Romano’s information refers to the length of the contract he will sign at that stage.
Right now, he needs to sign as a scholar, and will likely go into the Under-18 setup at United when he signs on the dotted line.
When it comes to signing youth players, United can only sign under-18s with UK citizenship, due to Brexit rules.
Biancheri has played for Wales at Under-16 level, but still qualifies to play for England and Italy, and could change allegiance as he moves up the age ranks.
Last season for the under-16s he scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists, and Wales Online report he has already trained with Cardiff’s under-21s.
This is not the established, ready-made striker that United need but he is one for the future and will hope to keep developing at United.
Erik ten Hag is a manager who puts an emphasis on youth and will hand players opportunities if they are good enough to play for the first team.
Biancheri is a bit of a way off that right now, but Alejandro Garnacho’s rapid development this season has shown what is possible.
