Manchester United midfielder Fred produced an impressive performance in the 2-1 victory over Fulham.
Fred played a key role in United’s opener, scored by Jadon Sancho, before setting up Bruno Fernandes‘ winner.
The victory saw Manchester United clinch third place and an additional £2.2 million in prize money.
Importantly the victory also kept up momentum ahead of next week’s FA Cup final against Manchester City.

Fred praised
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire made his return to action alongside Fred as manager Erik ten Hag made a handful of changes with a Champions League spot secure.
Fred’s assist for Fernandes’ winner was a pass the Portuguese star would have been proud of.
Harry Maguire spoke highly of the winning goal after the game, making a point of praising his teammates.
Maguire told MUTV: “It was an amazing pass, I was right behind him. Incredible run and finish from Bruno he’s done that all season.
“Fred found him, great vision. It was an amazing goal all round.”
Fred has not had many starts in recent weeks, falling out of favour since Christian Eriksen’s return.
However, his impressive showing in this game will not have gone unnoticed. He has given Ten Hag a decision to make.
Fred started at Wembley in the win over Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final, and he will be ready to step in if called upon ahead of Eriksen.
Maguire also praises De Gea
Maguire also had positive words for Golden Glove winner David de Gea after the game.
He told club media: “
“He’s been amazing this season. He’s made big saves in big moments and that is what David does.
“Obviously [there was] a big help from the rest of the lads as well – defence, midfield, attack – it’s a joint effort but David deserves it because he has kept us in games in crucial moments.”
