Manchester United are tracking Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae with a view to a summer move.
Napoli centre-back Kim Min-Jae is reported to be in Manchester United’s sights for the transfer window.
The Serie A winning defender is a rare transfer target where the club know where they stand. Kim Min-Jae has a release clause in his contract.
Goal is among the many outlets to report Kim’s release clause can be activated between July 1 and July 15.

Kim Min-Jae release clause
Napoli want to hold onto Kim Min-Jae after his terrific season for the club. But the release clause makes their task tricky.
It is a situation acknowledged by Napoli club lawyer Mario Grassani in a radio interview reported by Area Napoli.
Asked about Kim Min-Jae’s situation, he said: “Is it true that the clause in Kim’s contract is valid from 1 to 15 July? This statement is not far from the truth.”
There may be various conditions clubs have to meet too, but the existence of the clause has not been denied.
The report adds that Napoli will ‘probably’ lose the centre-back, naming Manchester United as the most prominently linked team.
The Serie A champions are actively looking at replacements, although it is unclear if they will sign a centre-back before July 1, or wait until afterwards, if Kim goes.
