Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana is among the top targets as Manchester United look to sign a new number one.
Manchester United are looking for a new goalkeeper with David de Gea currently out of contract.
A top name linked is Inter Milan stopper Andre Onana. A report from Gazzetta dello Sport last week reported that the two clubs have held talks.
The latest report from Gazzetta claims Erik ten Hag is keen to do the deal and has even reassured Onana he hopes it will get done.

Santiago Canizares on Andre Onana
Former Spain international goalkeeper Santiago Canizares has given his view on Andre Onana moving to Manchester United.
He believes Inter’s demands of 60 million Euros, which include 10m worth of add-ons, is good value. This equates to £42 million plus £8 million in add-ons.
Canizares told FC Inter News: “Selling Onana for 60 million (Euros) would be an excellent transfer especially considering the fact that he joined Inter on a free transfer.
“I think that would be a high price for any goalkeeper beyond Onana. André is a good goalkeeper who is doing very well at Inter and did well in the Champions League this year.
“But I think that when you talk about these figures, you can find other goalkeepers like him in the transfer market.”
Finding other goalkeepers like Onana might be something Manchester United have to consider, if the deal proves too expensive for the club’s budget.
But it seems like Onana is the player who manager Erik ten Hag has set his sights on. The Manchester United boss knows the Cameroon goalkeeper from their time at Ajax.
As a last resort, Manchester United could look to keep Dean Henderson, who is back at first team training.
Reports overnight via Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claim Manchester United have submitted an offer, however, it is below Inter Milan’s valuation.
