Roy Keane makes bold prediction ahead of Manchester United's game against Blades

Ex-Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has made a rather bold prediction ahead of the Red Devils’ crucial clash against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane this weekend.

A win for Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United would ease the pressure somewhat and make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League; something they are yet to achieve this season.

However, a loss would be catastrophic for the former Dutch manager who is already under pressure at Old Trafford after an inconsistent start to the campaign.

Roy Keane, speaking on The Overlap, has made a rather optimistic prediction which got Gary Neville and Ian Wright ‘Ooohing’ as a result.

Keane’s United prediction

The former United captain was seemingly confident and thinks Ten Hag’s side will turn up at Bramall Lane and have little issue dealing with the Blades.

“United all day. I’m going to say, I’ll give one up. Probably go three, or even 4-1,” Keane predicted. “United fans travel well. They’ll have a great craic with the pubs on the way over. You know what, 4-1, it’s going to be one of them nights.”

Neville, who was perhaps more reserved, believes that the Red Devils will pick up a 2-1 win over Paul Heckingbottom’s side but it certainly won’t be an easy game for the Red Devils.

Ten Hag’s decisive night

Not to be hyperbolic or mellodramatic but this could be a huge, season-defining game for Ten Hag and his United side.

A win away from home, making it two on the spin, would be huge for confidence around the club.

It is a big week for the Red Devils, which includes a Champions League game against Copenhagen as well as the small matter of the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford.

A win against the Blades would be the ideal start to a tough run of fixtures and a much-needed victory for the Red Devils.
