Manchester United Confirmed XI vs Wolves: Marcus Rashford returns, Antony out

Manchester United take on Wolves in the Premier League tonight – here is the confirmed lineup.

The Red Devils are on the road in the Premier League, as they face a tough trip to Molineux on transfer deadline day.

Erik ten Hag and his coaching staff will be looking to keep up their unbeaten record in 2024 after drawing to Tottenham Hotspur and defeating both Newport County and Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup.

So how are Manchester United lining up tonight?

Manchester United vs Wolves confirmed XI

This is the side that Erik ten Hag has deemed worthy to start against Wolves tonight.

Manchester United lineup: Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford, Hojlund

Manchester United subs: Bayindir, Evans, Kambwala, Maguire, Amad, Eriksen, Forson, McTominay, Antony

An interesting side for United – with only one change from the FA Cup win. Marcus Rashford is obviously the big news returning, and Antony is out in his place.

Where does a Manchester United win leave them?

A win for Manchester United, or in fact, a draw would see them shoot up the Premier League table. They currently sit in 9th, but anything other than a defeat will ensure they move up to 7th.

A win would also leave them just eight points off the Champions League places. It’s quite an important fixture, and one United should be winning if they’re serious about Europe next season.

Manchester United vs Wolves Prediction

No Premier League game is easy, as we’ve found out one too many times this season already. Manchester United also appear to be playing Wolves at exactly the wrong time.

They haven’t lost since the 17th of December, and like the Red Devils, are currently unbeaten in 2024. With a strong lineup, we’re going to back the boys – but it’s going to be a tight affair.

UIF Prediction: Wolves 1 – 2 Manchester United
