Manchester United are expecting to complete the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham despite some late issues to iron out.
A double deal is imminent for Manchester United, with Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui set to sign for the club.
Mazraoui’s arrival had been dependent on Aaron Wan-Bissaka being sold to West Ham, which has not yet been completed.
United and West Ham are both pushing to get an agreement struck, bringing an end to the player’s five years at the club.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka sale latest
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is scheduled to undergo a medical with West Ham on Monday morning, reports Florian Plettenberg from Sky Germany
It had originally been planned to take place on Sunday afternoon. He reports there is full confidence a deal will go through.
He writes on X: “Due to some details, the medical for Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been delayed. It is now scheduled to take place on Monday morning
“Been told the deal is not in danger at this stage. Clubs confident that the transfer will go through as planned – tomorrow.”
A separate report from The Athletic had just earlier claimed work was being done from both clubs to resolve the transfer.
United and West Ham are both optimistic a deal will be struck, while it is also suggested the Red Devils are ‘relaxed’ if it does not, suggesting Noussair Mazraoui’s transfer will not be negatively impacted.
Fabrizio Romano meanwhile underlined his confidence Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s transfer to West Ham will go ahead.
He commented: “West Ham are not worried on Aaron Wan-Bissaka deal as documents have been already prepared. Final steps between AWB and Man Utd on payoff to be sorted soon then Aaron will be ready to complete his medical.”
Wan-Bissaka exit a sign of intent
One way or another it looks like Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to leave Manchester United, West Ham are still strongly expected to wrap this one up.
Wan-Bissaka has been at Manchester United since 2019, and United’s intent to sign a new right-back to compete with Diogo Dalot signals an intent for change.
Erik ten Hag knows Noussair Mazraoui from his time at Ajax, and the Moroccan will help him better implement his desired style of football.
It is a commitment towards a more attacking playing style, and defined style of play, rather than the way United have been caught between differing approaches, due to the difference with Dalot and Wan-Bissaka’s attributes.
Variety can be important, and there may be situations United miss Wan-Bissaka, but it is time to try something new, and the Red Devils have made their decision.
