Manchester United have sent another two players out on loan this weekend, with Antony the latest to join the list.
This month always promised to play host to an exodus of players from Manchester United and after just three academy loans in the opening three weeks of the transfer window, things have accelerated.
Ethan Wheatley was the first exit confirmed on Saturday. Walsall confirmed the move in the morning before Wheatley was a 63rd-minute substitute in a 3-0 loss later in the day.
The loan for Wheatley is an incredibly exciting one, but for Antony, Saturday brought the best news he’s had in years.
After struggling in his two and half years at Old Trafford before this month, Antony now has a big chance to rebuild his career, with his loan now confirmed.

Antony joins Real Betis on loan
The January exit of Antony has been long in the making, with the Brazilian having no place in Ruben Amorim’s squad.
Now, the move has been confirmed.
United took to social media to wish Antony good luck for his upcoming six months in Spain, which could make or break his career at the top level.
Betis have no option or obligation to buy Antony following his loan, but United will hope that his performances create an interest in the summer.
United will only be paying 16 per cent of Antony’s wage, which makes the deal an excellent one for the club.
Real Betis’ Adrian is hoping to see the best version of Antony – and after the announcement, Antony got plenty of well wishes under his Instagram.
