Viktor Gyokeres sends transfer message with New Year hat-trick

Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres continued his form with a hat-trick against Vitoria SC during a 4-4 draw on Friday.

The prolific marksman remains an option for Manchester United amid suggestions Amorim would like to be reunited with Gyokeres; his former number nine.

Possible Victor Osimhen and Marcus Rashford swap deal

Marcus Rashford’s future remains a topic of discussion.

After starting in just two of United’s last nine games, the 27-year-old has fallen out of favour with Amorim.

Speaking recently the media about the 18-year-old winger, Juric, as quoted by Manchester Evening News, said: “I think what is best for him is to play for Southampton and keep growing up. He is still young and he has to concentrate only on training well and playing games. Nothing else.”

Diego Leon set for medical

Club Cerro Porteno left-back Diego Leon is set to have his Manchester United medical.

South American Journalist Bruno Pont recently reported that the player’s agent Renato Bittar is preparing for Leon to fly to Manchester for his physical assessment imminently.

Pont said: “Renato Bittar confirms to us in #LaGranJugada that in these days they will travel with Diego León to Manchester, the player will undergo medical tests.”

Possible outgoings include struggling attacking duo

While INEOS struggle to remain within the confines of the Premier League’s rules of profit and sustainability (PSR), there is an obvious need for United to sell before they buy.

Therefore, several players are linked with departures — some on-loan, others permanently.

Rashford prefers Barcelona transfer after rejecting Saudi Arabia

Despite being linked with a Napoli switch, Rashford is believed to prefer a move to La Liga.

One place he won’t be going is Saudi Arabia though. United’s number 10 is not interested in playing in the Pro League.

In fact, Rashford’s transfer preference is to join Barcelona. A deal will be hard to finalise due to the Catalan giants’ registration problems though.

Joshua Zirkzee wanted by Juventus

Joshua Zirkzee has endured a torrid start to life at Manchester United.

His struggles have led him to be linked with a mid-season exit. Serie A side Juventus are interested in signing Zirkzee.

Tyrell Malacia another star wanted in Turin

Young left-back Tyrell Malacia is also on Juventus’ transfer shortlist.

The 25-year-old, who was one of Erik Ten Hag’s first-ever signings, is a loan option for Thiago Motta.

The Italian media believe Malacia will leave United in January and could end up replacing the outgoing Danilo.

Antony’s nightmare coming to end

After arriving at Manchester United for a huge fee, Antony has failed to live up to expectations.

The Brazilian has fallen down Amorim’s pecking order and has been forced to watched on as Amad Diallo starts in his place.

Consequently, Antony is likely to be shipped out on loan with Real Betis frontrunners to secure his signature.

Jonny Evans urged to join Rangers

Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd has urged Jonny Evans to complete a mid-season switch to Rangers.

Evans is in the final six months of his contract at Old Trafford, and now at the age of 37, is unlikely to be offered a renewed deal.
