Amad Diallo and Casemiro were both on the same wavelength over their No 1 pick out of five Manchester United legends who played under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Casemiro has seen a turnaround in form in recent weeks at Manchester United and the former Real Madrid star has impressed in the Europa League campaign.
The 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder is under contract with United until 2026 and Casemiro has played 36 matches across all competitions in the current campaign.
Casemiro has been met with criticism at times over his sporadic form at Old Trafford this season, but the Brazil international has stepped up for manager Ruben Amorim.
Amad Diallo, on the other hand, has been sidelined since February after the United star damaged ankle ligaments amid an impressive run of form in the current season.
The 22-year-old Ivorian has been a key United first-team player for the Red Devils and Amad has been an important part of Ruben Amorim’s plans at Old Trafford.
Amad had been expected to miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season, but United manager Amorim has hinted that the United winger could return before then.
The Red Devils are through to the semi-finals of the Europa League after United knocked Lyon out in the quarter-finals and Amad could now return in May.

Casemiro ranks five Man Utd legends and he didn’t think twice about Cristiano Ronaldo as his No 1 pick
Sports Direct’s TikTok channel posted a clip of Casemiro blind ranking five Manchester United legends and the Brazilian midfielder made his feelings clear.
Cristiano Ronaldo came up as the first name and Casemiro, who played alongside the United legend at Old Trafford and at Real Madrid, put him in the No 1 spot.
“One, straight away,” he said.
Casemiro then went on to put David Beckham at the No 3 spot before controversially putting United all-time leading scorer Wayne Rooney at No 4 in the rankings.
The Brazil international then placed United legend Rio Ferdinand at No 3 before Ruud van Nistelrooy finished off the rankings clip in the No 5 spot.
When asked about Cristiano Ronaldo after his rankings, Casemiro added: “He’s the best of all time. One of the best.”
Amad Diallo’s rankings for his top five Man Utd legends differed from Casemiro’s picks, despite agreeing on Cristiano Ronaldo
Amad Diallo took part in the same blind rankings segment and David Beckham came up first, with the United player putting him at the No 4 spot.
The Ivory Coast winger then had Wayne Rooney as his No 2 choice before Cristiano Ronaldo came up and Amad, much like Casemiro, slotted him in at No 1 in the rankings.
Amad also had former United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy at No 5 in his blind rankings before ex-England defender Rio Ferdinand was placed at No 3.
United are back in Premier League action at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon and the Red Devils will face Bournemouth, with kick-off slated for 2pm UK time.
