The summer transfer window is well and truly underway, with the rumour mill around Manchester United as busy as ever.
Ineos is circling around goalkeepers this summer, with faith in Andre Onana no doubt low after a season in which he struggled.
This is despite the official line out of Old Trafford being that Manchester United intend to keep Onana beyond this summer, a stance which is as good for negotiating as it is if there’s truth to it.
Transfer links are also pointing toward Onana having a less-than-certain future at United, with a number of talented goalkeepers being mentioned as Ineos targets.
Emiliano Martinez has offered himself to United, while in a far more attractive option, Ineos have been discussing Diogo Costa, with the Portuguese star also thought to be Ruben Amorim’s dream choice.
There have been multiple others that Ineos have shown an interest in signing, now one could be headed elsewhere.

Fabrizio Romano says Napoli have made an approach for Vanja Milinkovic-Savic
With the goalkeeper market looking to be fiercely contested this summer, United will have to act swiftly in order to get the player they want, whether that be first or second choice in the ranks.
Now, one of United’s goalkeeper targets is the subject of an approach from Napoli.
This comes according to Fabrizio Romano, who has reported on X that Napoli are now in negotiations with Torino for Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, a deal that would be as cheap as €18m (£15m) for a quality goalkeeper.
The tweet claims that talks took place on Thursday with Napoli effectively looking to beat Manchester United to the punch and agree a deal to sign him quickly, as they ‘anticipate’ Ineos joining the race.
United have been linked with Milinkovic-Savic recently, as he is seen as a top-quality option for a low fee. Despite his quality, he is cheap enough to be signed to battle Onana for the starting position.
Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is an absolute steal for £15m
If United is operating on a low budget for the goalkeeping position, then they must immediately challenge Napoli for his signature.
Milinkovic-Savic had the most saves in Serie A last season (135) and had an impressive 76.3 per cent save percentage, which is a drastic improvement on Onana’s in the Premier League.
Not only this, but in Serie A, no goalkeeper prevented more goals than Milinkovic-Savic, as he prevented 10.56 goals.
The Serbian 6ft 7in giant is also excellent in a penalty situation as he kept out four of the seven he faced, which is little surprise as he is an imposing figure to stare down from the 12-yard spot.
So, in summary, Milinkovic-Savic for £15m is too good to pass up on, when at 28, he could easily have four or five years left at the top, minimum. Time for Ineos to swoop in and hijack this move.
