Manchester United’s summer transfer window has not gone to plan so far with only one signing complete.
Ruben Amorim wanted business done quickly this summer, but so far, Ineos are letting him down.
Matheus Cunha was signed for £62.5m on the first day of the window, but the only other arrival since then was Diego Leon, and he had agreed to join back in January.
It means Amorim has only had three signings in total since his appointment in November, with Patrick Dorgu signing for £25m as the only January arrival.
United fans accepted a quiet window in January in anticipation of a big summer rebuild, but so far there has been a staggering lack of progress.

Ineos promised to ‘get the house in order’ for summer
Over the winter, United were undergoing plenty of changes in personnel and staff, with Amorim joining as head coach as well as several changes to the leadership team.
It was widely accepted that United’s only saving hope was to win the Europa League, but the Red Devils fell short in Bilbao.
However, Omar Berrada promised United had a transfer plan in preparation for if the club missed out on European football.
To excuse the lack of activity over January, a report from David Ornstein claimed that Ineos were “getting the house in order for summer.”
However, United have already missed out on several top targets this window and there have now been over a month of talks for Bryan Mbeumo with two bids rejected by Brentford.
It’s not the summer rebuild that fans were promised, and it certainly doesn’t appear as though Ineos have a well-constructed plan.
Ineos reputation is on the line this summer
United fans continue to protest against the Glazers, and now Ineos are putting themselves in the firing line by failing to fix some of the problems that have plagued the club over the last decade.
Ineos impressed with their recruitment last summer, with almost every major signing making a positive impact on the squad.
However, a 15th-placed finish is unacceptable and therefore fans expected action this summer.
Liam Delap snubbed United and now Viktor Gyokeres is joining Arsenal, so United have already missed out on two top targets.

Meanwhile, Ineos are tunnel-visioned on Mbeumo and are still struggling to get a deal over the line.
There is just over a month to go until the Premier League season kicks off and Amorim has been given one major signing without any sales being completed.
A poor start to the season would not only pile huge pressure on Amorim, but fingers would be pointed at Ineos and the board.
