Manchester United and Ruben Amorim have an uphill task in trying to sign one highly rated attacking forward who has attracted the interest of Juventus.
Ruben Amorim is still waiting for further reinforcements to arrive for his Manchester United first-team squad in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils sent a statement of intent early in the transfer window this summer after United landed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a £62.5m fee in June.
Matheus Cunha was a key target for United and Amorim is in desperate need to reinforce his attacking options ahead of the 2025-26 season at Old Trafford.
United have been linked with Bryan Mbeumo and the Red Devils are tipped as the favourites to sign the 25-year-old French-born winger from Brentford this summer.
The Red Devils have also been tipped to bring in a new striker, with United linked with the likes of Napoli star Victor Osimhen and Sporting CP ace Viktor Gyokeres.

Man Utd and Juventus both spark transfer interest in Porto and Spain forward Samu Aghehowa
It is now believed that Manchester United and Juventus could turn their attention to signing Spain international Samu Aghehowa from Porto this summer.
Samu Aghehowa crossed paths with the Red Devils last season and the 21-year-old Spanish forward scored a brace in Porto’s 3-3 Europa League draw against United.
The Porto star is under contract with his current side until 2029 and Aghehowa has netted 27 times in 45 matches across all competitions for the Primeira Liga outfit.
A Bola now reports that Juventus have identified Aghehowa as a potential transfer target if they fail to sign Brazil and Real Madrid striker Endrick.
The Old Lady had an interest in the United-linked Aghehowa in 2024, but Juventus were unable to sign the Spain and Porto forward at the time.
Man Utd have more competition interested in Juventus-linked Samu Aghehowa amid the Porto forward’s hefty release clause
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha has also reported that Premier League sides Aston Villa and Newcastle are also interested in signing Samu Aghehowa.
Samu Aghehowa has been at Porto since 2024 after he was signed from La Liga club Atletico Madrid, with the Portuguese outfit paying an initial fee of €15m.
However, the likes of United, Juventus, Aston Villa and Newcastle will face a real challenge in prying Aghehowa away from the Estadio do Dragao this summer.
Porto are able to play hardball over any negotiations and the Primeira Liga side have a whopping £84m release clause in Aghehowa’s current deal with the club.
