Man Utd ‘very interested’ in wonderkid who is tipped as ‘heir apparent’ to Jude Bellingham, rare transfer twist happened

Manchester United have now received a rare opportunity to potentially land a Real Madrid-linked Ajax wonderkid who had been tipped as the ‘next Jude Bellingham.’

Jude Bellingham was subject to Manchester United’s transfer interest in the past and the Red Devils failed to bring the 22-year-old England midfielder to Old Trafford.

The Real Madrid star impressed early in his career at Birmingham City before taking his career to the next level with his scintillating run of form at Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham left Birmingham City in 2020 and signed for Borussia Dortmund, with the former United target lifting the German Cup during his spell at the German club.

The England ace made his exit from Dortmund in 2023 and completed a blockbuster transfer to Madrid, with Bellingham quickly becoming a key player for Los Blancos.

Madrid splashed out a hefty initial transfer fee of £88.5m (€103m), including agreeing to various potential add-ons, to land Bellingham from Dortmund.

Man Utd interested in the ‘next Jude Bellingham’ Abdellah Ouazane and Real Madrid’s transfer pursuit of the Ajax wonderkid

The Daily Mail reported back in April that Ajax wonderkid Abdellah Ouazane had been ‘likened in style’ to former Manchester United target Jude Bellingham.

Abdellah Ouazane has played for Ajax’s youth team, Jong Ajax, and the midfielder has been part of the academy set-up since his move from Dutch side AVV Zeeburgia.

The Netherlands-born talent has impressed during his time at the Eredivisie club and Ouazane has played for both Morocco Under-17s and Netherlands Under-15s.

However, the Ajax wonderkid has been tipped to leave the Dutch side and Real Madrid have been leading the race to land the ‘heir apparent’ to Bellingham.

Mundo Deportivo reported that Ouazane had ‘seemed to have already signed’ for Madrid, but a late spanner in the works has now blown his future wide open.

Man Utd could now move for Abdellah Ouazane after Real Madrid dealt a major blow in the transfer pursuit of the Ajax talent

The Spanish newspaper said that Abdellah Ouazane had ‘chosen’ the Spanish capital as his next destination after he turned down a contract at Ajax.

It has been reported that the Madrid target had travelled to Spain for his medical and the United-linked Ouazane planned to sign his contract with the La Liga club.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Ouazane’s move to Madrid ‘fell apart’ and Los Blancos ‘halted’ his signing after he ‘failed the medical tests’ with the Spanish side.

An interesting twist occurred after the Morocco Under-17s international travelled back to Amsterdam with Ajax and completed his medical tests in the Netherlands.

However, it is suggested that ‘teams like Manchester United are very interested’ in Ouazane and could try to sign the Dutch-born talent after Madrid’s transfer collapse.

The publication also claimed that Madrid have now ‘completely ruled out signing’ Ouazane and left the door open for other clubs to now pursue him instead.
