The summer transfer business Manchester United conducted in 2025 is looking better by the day, with Senne Lammens among the most impressive.
Despite a slow start to the season, Manchester United are now looking like a return toward battling for Europe is well underway.
United sit ninth in the Premier League; however, performances are only getting better, and the next three games might see the Red Devils in a Champions League race by December.

This is a big turnaround, with Amorim beginning to improve United, and now the results are following suit for the Red Devils.
While Amorim has been good, a lot of the good has also come from the players, particularly the new United signings who have hit the ground running.

Senne Lammens and Bryan Mbeumo transfer value on the rise
The summer transfer window Manchester United had was unanimously considered a success. United signed a much-needed goalkeeper in Senne Lammens and two of the Premier League’s best players.
These three signings have had impressive starts to the season, and now Transfermarkt’s value upgrades have shown this in financial terms.
Four Manchester United players with value upgrades
- Bryan Mbeumo – £13m rise
- Senne Lammens – £9.5m rise
- Matheus Cunha – £8.7m rise
- Ayden Heaven – £2.3m rise
These four have all seen their values rise, but it was the three signings who have clearly impressed the most.
At this early stage, Cunha, Lammens and Mbeumo have already become successes at United, with their performances at Anfield only proving this point.
The top five most valuable Manchester United players
The trio has been incredibly impressive thus far, although they are only just getting started.
TalkingPoints
Who has been Manchester United’s best signing?
The trio have been pretty spectacular, raising the levels of the team and becoming among the most important players in the squad immediately. But where do they rank in United’s most valuable players list?
- Bryan Mbeumo – £60.9m
- Matheus Cunha – £60.9m
- Benjamin Sesko – £60.9m
- Leny Yoro – £48m
- Bruno Fernandes – £39m
Four of United’s five most valuable players were signed under Ineos, which quite clearly shows the recruitment has been excellent.
Manuel Ugarte has, however, seen a massive drop in his value, with United likely to sell in 2026, being one of Ineos’ few transfer misses thus far.
