Senne Lammens has not done himself any favours after his unconvincing Manchester United performance against Everton on Sunday afternoon.
The 24-year-old Belgian shot-stopper was poorly positioned and was unable to deny Tyrique George’s superb 83rd-minute strike for Everton’s equaliser this weekend.
Senne Lammens was helplessly rooted to the spot in the 96th minute and watched Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ long-range effort snatch away Manchester United’s win.
Goals aside in the Man Utd and Everton match, Lammens’ Premier League display fell well short of what Red Devils supporters saw from him last season.

Senne Lammens looked unnaturally off the mark for Manchester United on Sunday, including not coming out to collect the ball or outmuscling the Everton player.
The Belgium international had impressed during United’s 1-0 Premier League win over Everton at Old Trafford back in February after tapping into his physicality.
Lammens produced critical saves in the Old Trafford tie and was far more assured in commanding his Man Utd box from set pieces and corners against Everton.
Fast-forward from United’s clash with Everton in the 2025-26 season to the Red Devils’ latest test against the Toffees and Lammens did himself a disservice.
Lammens was the first to talk up the importance of his 6ft 4in build and how his physical frame was one of his biggest attributes as an effective shot-stopper.
“It’s one of my strengths,” he told The Guardian back in February, before adding: “So sometimes I like the challenge as well.
“Of course, it can get too much sometimes, but everyone has to deal with it. It’s not like only one team does it; it’s everyone in general.”
The Premier League visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday afternoon saw Lammens acting like a deer in the headlights instead of dominating his opponents.
There are big questions around Lammens this season after the strong start to his life at Old Trafford and his summer setback with Belgium at his first World Cup.
It feels that Lammens needs to head back to basics and his own words about his physicality are the best place for the Man Utd No 1 in order to return to his best.
