Manchester United’s pursuit of young talent continues with Jerayno Schaken the next target on Ineos’ radar.
The scouting and recruitment of young players has become a staple of Ineos’ ownership of Manchester United.
This summer, a £4m deal was struck for Tynan Thompson to join as a player on the fringe of United’s first team.
According to OnTheMinute, United are now keeping tabs on Jerayno Schaken and assessing his development in the Eredivisie.

Schaken is a traditional winger with great technical ability and an eye for a pass.
He spent time in Ajax’s academy but made his breakthrough at Feyenoord, where he has a contract valid until 2028.
Schaken made Eredivisie history in early September by becoming the league’s youngest-ever player to score on his debut.
At the age of 17 years and 79 days, Schaken was brought on against NEC and scored the final goal in Feyenoord’s 3-1 win.
How Jerayno Schaken fits at Manchester United
Schaken would join a strong cohort of wingers in the United squad.
The deal for Tynan Thompson this summer strengthened United’s options on the left, with Marcus Rashford and Matheus Cunha already battling for a starting spot.

On the right, United have the option of Bryan Mbeumo or Amad Diallo, while Shea Lacey also made his breakthrough playing on the flank.
Lace was tested in a central area over pre-season, and if that is where his future lies, then there is an opportunity for Schaken to compete with Mbeumo and Amad for minutes.
