Manchester United are considering sending Mason Greenwood out on loan – and three destinations are being considered.
It was reported by The MEN this week that Manchester United are coming towards the end of their investigation into Mason Greenwood.
Mason Greenwood is currently under suspension pending a club inquiry, into the events which led to his arrest in early 2022.
United are considering all options, from releasing Greenwood, to reintegrating him into the squad, and now, sending him out on loan.

Mason Greenwood loan option
A report in The Mail claims Manchester United are considering sending Greenwood out on loan next season.
This would enable United to gauge reaction to Greenwood playing again, and also allowing him to build up his fitness, and assess his performance levels.
It is essentially a middle-ground for United, kicking the problem down the curb.
Greenwood’s contract runs until 2025, and United are continuing to pay him a weekly wage while he is under suspension.
So a loan move could see United offload some of his wages to another club, while also getting Greenwood a year closer to the end of his contract.
Strong performances might even put United in a position to sell Greenwood for profit in 2024, rather than essentially dumping him for free, and letting another club benefit.
Loan destination options
The report states the chances of a switch to a Premier League club on loan is ‘remote’. It is hard to think another club want to take on the possible PR nightmare and scrutiny Greenwood would bring, if United are not willing to themselves.
A loan to a foreign side is not a stretch. The Mail report Greenwood could be sent to Spain, Italy, or Turkey.
The Telegraph reported in March that United had rejected loan offers from Turkish clubs for Greenwood, amid their extended transfer window.
A recent report in The Sun claimed Juventus are interested in Greenwood. These options would allow the young striker to continue his career away from the spotlight, while also keeping the door open at Manchester United.
