Casemiro’s behind-the-scenes ‘secret’ for staying ‘calm’ shows the Manchester United and Brazil midfielder is not entirely different from teammate Senne Lammens.
The five-time Champions League winner will bow out of Old Trafford in the summer transfer window once Casemiro’s Manchester United contract expires in June.
United have opted against extending Casemiro’s current deal by an additional 12 months, despite the midfielder’s resurgence in form at the Premier League club.
Casemiro’s final Premier League campaign at Old Trafford has coincided with the debut season of Red Devils and Belgium shot-stopper Senne Lammens.

Casemiro and Senne Lammens have both prided themselves on their ‘calmness’ as a major trait at Man Utd
Senne Lammens has openly spoken about ‘calmness’ and how the 23-year-old Manchester United No 1 has leaned into the trait as part of his demeanour.
The former Royal Antwerp ace has been highly praised for his commanding presence in the Man Utd box and calming aura between the sticks for the Red Devils.
Casemiro, much like Red Devils summer signing Lammens, has shown his abundance of experience from his midfield role when it comes to being calm.
Speaking to Manchester United’s official website, the 34-year-old Brazilian midfielder broke down what he feels is the ‘secret’ behind being calm under pressure.
“The work day-to-day,” Casemiro said.
“The work you do every day will always pay off. So, when you work every day, it is true [that] football is played by 11, but there are 20 in the squad, so it doesn’t just depend on you.
“But when you do your work, in the end it will always pay off.”
Gym work makes the mind work for Casemiro after Man Utd star opens up on his ‘intense’ training routines
Casemiro has netted seven times and registered two assists in his 30 matches across all competitions amid being a key United first-team player for Michael Carrick now.
Outside of his impressive run of form under Michael Carrick in recent months, Casemiro candidly opened up about his routines ahead of his Old Trafford exit.
“I like to be in the gym every day,” he said.
“I don’t like to do too much, but I am one of those [who] like to do a little bit every single day so that you can be on another level.
“So, I just try to enjoy it on the pitch. But the thing I do every day is spend 20-30 relaxed minutes in the gym as part of my routine.”
Casemiro, who has been linked with clubs in both the MLS and Saudi Arabia, has seven Premier League matches left in his Man Utd playing spell now.
