Man Utd are now linked with Porto winger William Gomes ahead of the summer window opening
The summer transfer window opens on 15th June after the start of the World Cup, with Manchester United currently pursuing midfielder Ederson at Atalanta.
Diario AS has now reported that Man Utd are one of the clubs that are interested in signing Brazilian winger William Gomes from Primeira Liga outfit Porto.
William Gomes has been at Porto since 2025 after the Portuguese club signed the 20-year-old attacker from Brazilian side Sao Paulo for a €9m transfer fee.
The Porto talent is under contract at the Estadio do Dragao until 2029 and the promising Gomes has reportedly emerged on the radar of United now.

According to AS, Premier League champions Arsenal and Newcastle have shown a desire to snap up Man Utd-linked William Gomes from Porto this summer.
The Spanish newspaper added that Gomes has received interest from the Serie A in the form of Roma, while La Liga side Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs on the Brazilian.
However, Porto have not received a formal offer for the former Sao Paulo winger and the Primeira Liga club could command a hefty transfer fee for Gomes.
It has been reported that Gomes has a hefty £69.42m (€80m) release clause in his current contract with Porto amid growing interest in the Brazilian attacker.
