Christopher Vivell holds a lot of sway at Manchester United, given his pedigree in recruitment, but one player on his agenda won’t be making the move to Old Trafford.
Last summer, Christopher Vivell was key in signing Benjamin Sesko, having also signed the Slovenian striker for RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg.
Manchester United have made Vivell a key part of the recruitment structure, with his talent identification being top-class.
With links to players in Germany or playing for the Red Bull Group always attributed to the German recruitment whiz. But his magic won’t be working for one talented target.

Manchester United to miss out on signing Kerim Alajbegovic
Left-wing is set to be a target for Manchester United this summer, and Bosnian wonderkid Kerim Alajbegovic was emerging as a potential target.
United lost the Vivell advantage to sign Alajbegovic earlier this season when Bayer Leverkusen triggered a buy-back option to re-sign him.
But a move was still possible, as the Bundesliga side were reportedly ready to cash in immediately.
Now, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Alajbegovic has made a decision on his next move.
The reporter explains that Inter Milan, Napoli, and Roma have all opened talks with Alajbegovic’s father as he chooses Serie A as his next destination.
Interestingly, Bosnian legend Miralem Pjanic has taken the role of playing intermediary in the potential deal.
Alajbegovic feels Serie A is the best place for his evolution as a player, ruling out United.
Alajbegovic isn’t what Manchester United need
While United’s interest was exciting, the Bosnian isn’t a clear upgrade on what is currently at Michael Carrick’s disposal, which would also block the pathway of JJ Gabriel.
United should only be shopping for A+ talents, with Ineos’ interest in Eduardo Conceicao a far better option if it is a future top winger that is desired.
Patrick Dorgu has proven he can be a solid left-winger, while Matheus Cunha is making the role his own of late.
United don’t need a 19-year-old who needs a lot of development and could struggle with the Premier League. Ineos would be wiser to give chances to Noah Ajayi right now.
There are so many reasons to avoid deals like this, so it shouldn’t be considered a great loss for Vivell or United.
