Manchester United gave a debut to Willy Kambwala against West Ham at the weekend.
The 19-year-old did well, all things considered. Manchester United may have lost 2-0 on the day, but that wasn’t down to defensive mistakes.
Overall, it was a solid debut for the young man, who partnered Jonny Evans at the London Stadium.
But as one Manchester United man returns – he may be immediately dropped from the starting XI.

Diogo Dalot returns for Manchester United vs Aston Villa
Erik ten Hag has a boost in defence with Diogo Dalot back for Manchester United.
He served a one-game suspension against West Ham United, so is back in contention for the Red Devils as they take on Villa.
This means Ten Hag may shake up the Manchester United defence. With centre-halfs few and far between at United at the moment, we think the manager will utilise Luke Shaw‘s versatility against the Villans.
Ollie Watkins is one of the most in-form strikers in the Premier League, so sticking Kambwala on him would be rather naive.

Instead, we think he’ll shift Luke Shaw to left centre-back, partnering Evans – and then Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the right, with the returning Dalot on the left.
You could argue Sergio Reguilon should play left-back, but it appears Ten Hag evidently doesn’t think he’s a starter for Manchester United.
Dalot has been deployed at left-back multiple times this season, always performing competently in the role.
We think he’ll be doing the same at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
