Manchester United fans could not help but single out Manuel Ugarte after the midfielder’s display against Premier League side West Ham in their pre-season match.
The Red Devils’ pre-season campaign began last week and Manchester United faced Leeds United in Sweden in their opening match of their tour this summer.
United and Leeds United played out an uneventful 0-0 draw at the Strawberry Arena in Solna, with the Red Devils lacking the clinical finishing in the final third.
Following United’s encounter with Leeds in Stockholm, the Red Devils now returned to action on Sunday for the first of three matches in the US leg of the tour.
Ruben Amorim and his men travelled to New Jersey and United were back in action against West Ham for the Premier League Summer Series match at the MetLife Stadium.

Manuel Ugarte started in the heart of midfield alongside Kobbie Mainoo in the tactical system of Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Uruguayan defensive midfielder impressed United fans in the first half against West Ham and was denied an assist after Amad Diallo was ruled offside.
“Are we getting prime Ugarte??? Absolute monster in that midfield right now,” one Red Devils supporter said.
Another X user posted: “Ugarte has been a man possessed [in] this [match]… unbelievable.”
Someone else wrote: “[Manuel] Ugarte is playing incredible; what the heck am I watching?”
“Ugarte looks [like] a different player,” a fourth United fan tweeted.
While a fifth added: “Ugarte isn’t appreciated enough, but he will be this season!”

And a seventh suggested: “Mate, Ugarte has been outstanding. Anyone who says he hasn’t has a weird agenda at this point.”
An eighth claimed: “I think our season will depend on the form Ugarte is in. If he can find [that] he is solid like today, we’re gonna be alright.”

Graham Potter’s men finally made an impact in Sunday’s match after Hammers skipper Jarrod Bowen netted past United star Altay Bayindir in the 63rd minute.
Following the friendly match against West Ham, United will now travel to Illinois and will face fellow Premier League side Bournemouth on 31st July at the Soldier Field.
The upcoming Premier League Summer Series clash between United and Bournemouth in Chicago is slated for a 2:30am kick-off time in the UK.
