After a tough few games, Manchester United were back on form this weekend against Liverpool, and it was a performance worth waiting for.

Louie Bradbury makes return for Manchester United

United were already 3-0 up when Louie Bradbury finally made his return from injury.

Bradbury has been likened to Chido Obi, and he proved why as he scored merely minutes after Darren Fletcher opted to bring him off the bench.

Bradbury scored a true striker’s goal as he capitalised on a corner which ended in a goalmouth scramble before he poked it home, showing his poacher’s instinct.

Bradbury scored 41 times last season, and now that he is back fit and firing, he will want to begin reminding fans why he was so highly regarded prior to this season.

It was clearly a moment that meant a lot to Bradbury, evidenced by him and Godwill Kukonki arguing over who got the final touch.

Now, after the game, Bradbury took to Instagram, sending a message to supporters which also shows his relief to be back after 18 weeks on the sideline.

“18 weeks out, Back with a bang”, Bradbury wrote, with a sunglasses emoji.

In the comments, his teammates were thrilled for him. Amir Ibragimov commented “bagsman”.

Meanwhile, Jayden Ngwashi added two pistol emojis to indicate Bradbury is lethal in front of the goal.

Now, Bradbury can kick on and make himself the number nine that the U18s have needed.
